Stress-Relief in Busy Times

The end of the year is quickly approaching. For many, this is an incredibly busy time. Getting ready for the holidays and working on year-end activities add to the stress of already stressful times.

Because of their proven stress-relieving features, to me there is no better moment than now to set aside time for yourself with yoga and Yoga Nidra. Many studies have shown (Field, 2011) (Moszeik, von Oertzen & Renner, K.H., 2022) that both yoga and the deep meditation that is Yoga Nidra can help you to relieve stress and improve sleep patterns. While it may sound counter-intuitive, taking time out for yourself can make you more productive. You'll waste less energy on stress and apply that energy to more valuable things in your life.

Just putting aside one hour a week during this time of year can help you feel less stressed and more rejuvenated. This one hour can even be done in 10 - 15 minute increments. Make the choice for for yourself. Do some self-care. Add yoga to your toolkit. Tonight, you can take advantage of a one hour online Yoga Nidra class by signing up here.
I am excited to announce that I have published the first Yoga Nidra audio on my website. You can download it for free. Donations are also welcomed. It is a short Yoga Nidra practice, so it is good for when you don't have time for the full-blown 1 hour class.
